I didn't do as much work as last week but here's a cutout Lars inspired by Parappa the Rapper anime OP!

The texture was done in Krita (raster .png) and Inkscape (.svg outline path), the puppet and its basic movement was done in Blender 3D and the motion blur and background were added in last, in Magix Vegas.

I remade a year old cover art pastiche I did!

And no, I didn't trace over the original. I actually blocked out the scene in 3D from the ground up!!!! B)

✨MY NEW ALBUM IS OUT✨

"LIS JONITO W ALEI CZASU"

After almost an entire year of either stagnation or sketching out subpar demos, in mid October of 2023, I was struck by a sudden spark of creative prog rock energy. And soon, a new album was born - Lis Jonito w Alei Czasu (🇬🇧 Jonito the Fox in the Alley of Time).

Consisting of four compositions, the album's heavily influenced by both classics and deep cuts from the library of 70s prog rock, from all over the world. Despite that, it retains a unique artistic fingerprint of its own. Tons of crunchy organ vamps and rich blooming synth passages accentuated by trickling mellotron backdrops, driven by snappy syncopated rhythms are here. Symphonic Prog and RPI fans won't be disappointed!

I made the decision to write the lyrics in my native language again, in order to bring out a different kind of artistic imagery, I was unable to express in English. In addition to that, I'd noticed the majority of native Polish artists in the neo/symphonic prog circles would choose to create their albums in English, and I wanted to break that mold.

YouTube has always been a shitty platform for content creators. I've had 436 subscribers for well over a year regularly posting new content and all. That's fine. I mean, ok. Maybe that's becasue of how the worthless alogirthm works. But now? Look. I lost 5 followers in less than a fucking month. What a fucking joke!

The cover art of my latest prog album (left) was originally meant to be a parody of At-King by Deyss (right), but I recently realized it also bears some unintentional similarities to Tacy Sami by Lady Pank (middle). Funny coincidence.
