[Awesome Land - Episode 8]

I enjoyed this flash, especially those little Eddsworld references you put there such like Powl's gun. There were some flaws though: timing errors, occasional poor animation moments and very inconsistent backgrounds ranging from nice to what's this CGI doing in a 2D flash to oh you just slapped a photo on it.

Thank you for your advice and compliment, but about the backgrounds, that was indeed included in the beginning Warning. Originally, it was supposed to be all real backgrounds like The Amazing World of Gumball or Sit Down, Shut Up, but that can run into complications.

It's okay. Work on BODY PROPORTIONS (i'm typin this is all caps, because it's important).
Also, the main character reminds me of Matt Hargreaves for some reason.

I like this toon. The humor is there and the animation, albeit being choppy at times, flows really nicely and does a good job at parodying the style of "golden age" cartoons.

Thanks man! I know I coulda made the whole thig much smoother, but as a broke ass kid with little patience, I only focus on what part of the animation really needed that extra effort. I did put in a considerable time watching old infomercials so I did my research lol.

Character design makes me think of that Bumming Crew christmas special.

[A Word On Halloween]

You seem to like Spazkid's methodof shading.
The flash is okay, but it doesn't have a lot of actual animation. It's mostly just slide show.
That's why I'm giving it 3 stars out of 5.

You mean like, creamy coloring? Yeah I like to play around with the color wheel, make it look interesting. And though I can't say it's "Spazkid's method", he's certainly one of the people who inspired me to shade this way. And yeah, you're right, it's pretty much a sliedeshow. lol but thank you for the fair review.

Good art and voice acting but the animatiopn is a bit too stiff and the lipsyncing needs more work.
